Accessibility Statement
Graid Ai is committed to making our Services accessible to as many users as possible. This statement describes our current accessibility posture, known limitations, and how to contact us with accessibility feedback.
1. Our Commitment
Graid Ai aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard across our web application and website. We recognize that as a mobile-first camera-dependent application, some features are inherently visual in nature, and we are committed to providing accessible alternatives where technically feasible.
2. Current Conformance
Graid Ai is a mobile-first progressive web application currently in its initial public release. We have made the following accessibility provisions:
- Semantic HTML structure with appropriate heading hierarchy throughout the website and application.
- Sufficient color contrast ratios on primary text and interactive elements (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text).
- Tap targets sized to at minimum 44×44 points on mobile per Apple HIG and Android Material Design guidelines.
- Descriptive button and link labels on all primary interactive elements.
- Form inputs have associated labels and appropriate ARIA attributes where needed.
- Error messages are descriptive and associated with their relevant form fields.
- The application does not auto-play audio or video.
- Focus indicators are visible on interactive elements for keyboard users accessing the website.
3. Known Limitations
We are aware of the following accessibility limitations and are working to address them:
- Card photo capture: The core pre-grading feature requires camera access and visual card photography. We do not currently offer an alternative non-visual submission path. Users who cannot photograph cards should contact support@graid.ai to discuss alternative submission arrangements.
- Card images in catalog and lookup: Not all card images currently have descriptive alt text. We are working to populate alt text for all card images in the Registry using card identification data.
- Grade result visualization: Charts and other visual elements may not be fully accessible via screen reader. The information they present is also available as plain text.
- Image zoom: The image zoom lightbox may not be fully navigable by keyboard alone in its current implementation.
- Full WCAG 2.1 AA audit: A formal third-party accessibility audit has not been completed. We welcome feedback on any accessibility barriers encountered at support@graid.ai.
4. Assistive Technology Tested
During development, the following assistive technologies were used to inform our accessibility decisions:
- VoiceOver on iOS 17+ (Safari)
- TalkBack on Android 13+ (Chrome)
- VoiceOver on macOS Sonoma (Safari)
- NVDA with Chrome on Windows 11
We cannot guarantee full compatibility with all assistive technology combinations. If you encounter issues with a specific configuration, please contact us.
5. Feedback & Contact
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of Graid Ai. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, require content in a different format, or need assistance accessing any feature of the Services, contact us at support@graid.ai with "Accessibility" in the subject line. Graid Ai will make commercially reasonable efforts to respond to accessibility feedback and to address identified barriers where technically and operationally practicable.
6. Formal Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility issue, you may contact the relevant accessibility enforcement body or regulatory authority in your jurisdiction.
7. Statement Review
This accessibility statement was last reviewed on June 1, 2026. We review and update this statement at least annually and following any significant changes to the Services.
